This unique specimen shows in detail the ventral morphology of the presumed trilobite originator. Between the outer lobes can be seen the impressions of the hypostome, coxae, and most of the length of the jointed appendages which have a characteristic bent knee between the second and third podomere. The layout represents the living configuration of the organism, rather than that of a dead body-fossil. From Crozon Peninsula, Brittany, France.
