A large ellipticone showing the typical complex Puziosa sutures on part of the outer whorl just behind the body chamber. Some test is present although much is absent or covered by post mortem activity - including four small belemnites and several small shells. The central protoconch and umbilical seam are not expressed. The visible inner whorl is composed of small, closely-spaced ribs whilst the outer 1/3 of a whorl has well developed large, widely spaced raised ribs with blunt tubercles developed either side of the umbilical seam.
