A fine complete specimen with both valves. The left valve shows the sulcus well. A typical example of the fossil known as "Devil s Toenail". Often mistaken for a brachiopod due to its unsymmetrical valves but this is a true bivalve as it lacks a pedical. From Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
