A fine internal mould with some test showing 5 whorls. On one side there is a strong median pathological groove on the last third of the outer whorl together with associated modification to the ribbing, with change direction and become weaker compared with those on the other side. The groove is preceded on the last whorl by a slightly raised spiral rib in the umbilical seam position. The terminal part of the last whorl is strongly displaced to one side. This could equally well be due to pathology or post mortem distortion. From Wooton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire.
