A fine complete internal mould in good relief of this swimming crab - or Panzerkreb. It shows the wide flat segments of the tail and the telson and uropods well. One pair of walking legs and the well developed claws with delicate pincers can be clearly seen as well as the flattened carapace and stalked eyes. Physiologically this specimen closely resembles the spiny lobster - Eryon arctiformes of the same age which is almost identical apart from a smoother edge to the carapace and longer eyestalks. From the Lithographic Limestone of Solnhofen, Bavaria. A slightly smaller specimen than MER 5.0
