A fine complete adult internal mould with 5 whorls beautifully preserved on both sides, retaining some test in the umbilicus. The last suture is visible, the body chamber occupies just over 1/2 a whorl and shows uncoiling of the umbilical seam. The peristome is preserved and shows a 10 mm long external projected ventral rostrum typical of microconchs of the family Cardioceratidae up to their last member in the Kimmeridgian. The ribbing shows particularly well and the whorl shape is almost quadrate with a high keel. From England, UK.
