A superb specimen of this very delicate animal. A very small calyx and a thin, 220mm-long stem both well shown. There are many branching arms, arranged in the shape of a fan. The base of the stem appears to be fixed to a small shell, adjacent to other crinoid arms. The block also has a small Taeniaster beneckei, a brittlestar, with all 5 arms visible. From the Hunsruck Slate, Bundenbach, Germany.
