A superb specimen with 240mm of stem, gradually tapering from the calyx. The plates of the partially flattened hemispherical calyx are clear, together with the branching arms. The distal parts of the arms have all been aligned by the current as the calyx settled in the sediment. There is also a single circular crinoid ossicle near the stem. 70mm x 40 mm in good relief. From the Hunsruck Slate, Bundenbach, Germany.
