A fine typical ventral valve (17 mm x 14 mm) showing the muscle scars and external ornament. It makes a fine palaeoecological teaching specimen as it has an adnate fauna of a bryozoan and three worm tubes (all of different types) and is attached to the upper surface of a complete echinoid (Micraster coranguinum) partly covering the apical system and petals. from Gravesend, Kent.
