With diamond shaped leaf bases, from pieces of stem, of which they form the outer surface, a very fine, large compressed internal mould showing 157 characteristic leaf scars arranged in a regular diagonal pattern. Most scars show the diagnostic feature of ridges curving downwards from the sides to merge into the margins of the cushion. From Radstock, Avon.
